Flatbed shipping uses an open-deck trailer to transport freight that may be difficult to load or accommodate in an enclosed trailer. With no fixed sides or roof, flatbeds provide easy access from the sides, rear or above, making them ideal for large, heavy and irregularly shaped loads.
